Nigerian celebrities are renowned for living a lie, a lie
which only exist within the thraldom of the West African most populous country
and famous for all the ills of government
To these, Fame is forced and it matters little how it is
attained, their desperation is visible in their showmanship and desires for
public attention, only very few mature ones are careful about the misuse of
public attention with all the barrage of social media platform, From Facebook,
to twitter to istagram, Nigerian celebrity force themselves into the
consciousness of Nigerian whose adulation they relish
In a bid to gain attention, some even threw caution to the
wind exposing whatever can sustain their thought on the minds of their audience
on social media.
Most others capitalize on current issues to advance their
cause of desperation since originality in the Nollywood is ebbing out.
You may recall that the Bringbackourgirls saga was well
attended by so many Nigerians artiste to be seen as vocal and adding their
voice to the cause of theover 300 Kidnapped Nigerian girls Four months ago and
suddenly the clouds are over
Now the scare of Ebola virus in Liberia and some African
countries is current on stage.
A (controversial) Nigerian Artist rode on the news and
claimed to be on his way back to Nigeria for the fear of being infected by the yet
incurable virus which claimed the lives of many, posting a picture of himself
on instagram with masked face claiming to be in Monrovia, all that was visible
was a covert which he chose to expose. Giving no further clue of a busy airport
of a Landing plane
The Nigerian audience who are always agog with their idols
fumed in response on social media asking the artiste to submit himself to appropriate
health authority for quarantine
Just to buttress his earlier claims, The artiste again
posted another picture of himself in a ravishing mood without disclosing his
arrival to whatever airport and making the Nigerian border authority look like
liars who would allow a plane from Monrovia without inspecting the passengers. What
a Joke
But the jokes are for the people described as One Million
Mumu by Lagbaja.
The question that were never asked was, Did her really
travel to Liberia?
What was the unfinished business?
Is there a Passport evidence of his trip? Or have the Nigerian People been deceived to
the usual scam of their so called Celebrities who lie from both of their mouths
to gain relevance
